Oh my, but it has been a long time since I made a post, hasn't it? To be precise, it has been since St. Louis, Columbus, Philadelphia and Madison Sq. Garden since I made a post! ( This is gonna take awhile. )

But I'm here in Kansas, and getting ready to color my friend's hair, so wha-hey! I guess the pain of spending two more hours of my life in that dingy sad station was worth it!

And when I'm next in St. Louis, I will have much better locale: the 3 Pageant, standing in the crowd, watching MCR. Nowhere near the bus station.

I hope.

( But I still have a couple more days here, so let's not get overconfident. )

For a week, it's been late nights laughing with a friend who is almost a sister, books and music and coffee, and watching Kansas turn spring green from the back of a Harley. I didn't know this woman when I arrived, almost didn't recognize her at the bus station, and now I can't bear to leave. ( But the tour goes on, and so must I. )

Nah. It's definitely more likely that someone snuck into fleurdeliser's parent's home and stuffed my ears with invisible cotton as I lay crashed out solidly on the couch. Yes. That's my theory. ( More theories about things definitely not related to the concerts I've been attending. )

Yes. My first day at the Bamboozle Left was quiet. Yes, I was standing in front of stages all day, bouncing on my feet and delighting in the thumping of my sternum, but I was also on my own for most of it, and somehow, that left me feeling quiet inside. Centered ( Read more... )
